Hello scrappy friends! Today I want to share with you the latest layout I created. This is pretty much a stash-killing layout. I used up a bunch of stickers and papers from older collections.
I started by cutting some pieces of paper with my Silhouette using the Retro Rounded Corners cut file from the Cut Shoppe. I wanted to use this cut file to create some DIY flower embellishments. I chose a couple of red, pink and orange 6×6 papers from the Amy Tangerine “Rise and Shine” collection for the petals and a lovely green paper for the leaves.
I started with a strip of paper on the left side of the page. Then I covered the the right edge of that pattern paper with a flower cluster. To build up my floral cluster, I started by adding a few flower stickers from various Pebbles collections. Then I assembled my DIY flowers and placed them on the page.
Once my DIY flowers were in place, I added a few “leaf” pieces behind each of them. Then I continued adding more embellishments on my cluster. I really went crazy layering all these stickers but it was a really fun process and I was so happy to use up older supplies.
I also grabbed some MME rub-ons with floral designs that I had in my stash for a while and I was so surprised that they were still working beautifully.
For my title I mixed a bunch of different brands and materials to make it stand out but also blend in with the design. I’m really so happy with the way this turned out.
