Hello hello! Today I have something different to share with you.
You probably already know that I do use a lot of digital files and printables in my pocket scrapbooking so since I had a lot of files in my digital stash, I thought it would be fun to try and use them in a traditional scrapbooking layout.
I went through my files by Laurel Lane Designs and picked a bunch of words that I though would look good on a layout. I enlarged them and printed them on normal printer paper (although I recommend to use something heavier for better results).
I went for a simple composition with this layout adding all the elements on the right side of my page in a vertical arrangement. The pink paper I used in the background is from the Dear Lizzy “Fine & Dandy” collection and the embellishments are mostly from Maggie Holmes “Confetti”.
I layered the photos on some scraps and clustered them together with the embellishments. I was initially planning to use the words I printed and add journaling in between to help it make better sense but once I started putting the words down I liked how they were on their own so I didn’t journal.
To finish it off I added some big splatters of black ink and some smaller ones of pink watercolor to help everything come together.
