Good news everyone! Get Messy Thursdays are still on for this season!
I was really so happy that I managed to keep up with the challenge and finally started having a weekly routine with my art journal. You can check all the talented ladies that managed to finish the challenge at the sidebar of the Get Messy blog and you should definitely stop by and give them some love. Also as you may noticed in the sidebar of my blog, the lovely Caylee created some adorable graphics for all of us. Since I want another little graphic award, I jumped in and took the challenge for this season as well, so let me get started!
For this season I decided to try and work with less mediums so I moved to a moleskine cahier journal (I will most likely go back to my sketchbook if I feel like making a “heavier” page at some point but I’ll generally try to work in here for this season).
For this spread I used both the journaling and art prompts from the first challenge. I also thought it would be fun to try and share some small process videos each week. I know my pages are not hard or fancy but it’s more of a challenge for myself to be consistent and do some video editing work as well.
Before I finish this post, I wanted to share a small extra thing. A bit before the start of this season, two lovely ladies from the community, Julia and Karen, organized a small craft swap. I have to admit it was a genius idea and I really hope there will be more of that in the future.
So anyway I wanted to give you a little look into what was sent to me by the lovely Lauren @paperhelen. Girl you nailed it, thank you soooooo much. Every little bit of this package is super inspiring and hey look at them all spread out, they totally work like a mood board!
