I think I mentioned before that my favorite holiday craft is making gift tags. I love the size of them and the unlimited options of how you’ll decorate them. Today I will show you how I created some gift tag pockets using some of the Project Life cards from my December Brimbles Box.
To create these cuties, I used some of my favorite 3×4 designs from the Holiday themed pack and stitched a small piece of vellum on each of them to create a pocket. On the vellum piece I stamped the date with StazOn ink and added a kraft label sticker to write the name of the recipient.
To add inside each pocket, I cut some gift tags out of a music note pattern paper from the Maggie Holmes “Shine” collection. I tied a little piece of twine on each tag and wrote a little message at the back side of it.
To finish it off, I punched holes on the cards and added two pieces of thin ribbon. The ribbon I used was actually white and I painted over it using my watercolors. This way I got perfect color matches for each tag.
Here is a gallery of close-ups for each little gift tag pocket.
