Hello crafty fellows.
Today I wanted to share with you some cards I made using some stationery supplies and more specifically, page flags.
We all know that there are a ton of adorable page flags out there and of course everytime we come across a new one we just have to have it, no matter if we have a ton of them in our stationery stash already. I don’t know about you but I know for myself that I have too many to use all of them in my planner pages so I decided to try some different ideas and use them to make some cards.
The page flags I used for these cards are from Findingnana Shop. Make sure to check her out cause she has a great collection of stationery in her shop, I’m completely in love with everything she brings.
For the first card I started by sticking a bunch of page flags in random order on a piece of card stock. Once every page flag was in place I cut off the excess and painted a layer of gesso on top of it. I finished it by adding a couple of enamel dots and a stamp sentiment from Studio L2e.
For the next one I used some panda page flags which I cut in squares. Then I cut a few more squares in different sizes from scraps and started randomly building this abstract design. Once everything was stuck on the paper, I outlined the boxes with a black pen. I also added some small strips of washi tape (also from Findingnana Shop) to put a little bit more color. That’s all, stamped a sentiment and the card is ready.
The last card is similar with the previous one. I started by adding a pattern paper on the background. Again I mixed the page flag squares with some scrap paper but this time I used a brush pen to make the outlining bolder. Once everything was stuck on the card I stamped another sentiment from a Studio L2e set and finished the card by adding some ink splatters.
There are really endless possibilities.
