Hello wonderful peeps, I hope you had an amazing week!
Today I have another layout to share with you using a bunch of gorgeous goodies from theinkroad.com. If you are considering placing an order at the Ink Road, make sure to use the code “ZINIA10“ to get a 10% off discout.
I picked some random supplies mainly in pink color and started brainstorming on what I wanted to do. My initial idea was to create a background using many different stripes of paper. After I played around with it for a while, I decided to just add a few of them on the side and create a little cluster to embellish it.
I also went ahead and created my own custom made embellishments, using some white fabric ribbon and some spray mists. Once the color was dry on the ribbons, I just folded them to create a little half-bow (or whatever you call these adorable things :P).
Since I was creating a fairytale themed page, it was inevitable to use some book pages in my layering. I just love the unique texture they give. I also added a doily, a piece of vellum and some gold thread to make things more interesting with different materials.
As I was almost about to finish, I decided that I wanted to add some texture paste using my favorite Tim Holtz floral stencil. That white on white, lace-like look matched perfectly with the photo I was scrapping.
Last step was of course to add some pink and black splatters all over the page.
I really hope you enjoyed this layout and got inspired to create something. Again don’t forget that you can use the code “ZINIA10“ to get 10% discount in your orders at theinkroad.com.
Until next time, happy crafting!
