Hello lovely planner peeps! I hope you are doing great!
For the month of March my Brimbles Box had some beautiful 12×12 pattern papers to play with. I actually had a really hard time deciding what to do first but in the end I just started with a lovely pocket folder insert for my Foxydori.
If you are not familiar with Brimbles Box, it’s basically a monthly subscription box created by Anna Brim (aka Mrs Brimbles) and it’s filled with gorgeous planner and stationery goodies. There are four different types of boxes and you can find all the details about their differences here.
The process is quiet simple but if you’ve never done this before you should watch the video where I guide you step by step. I basically I started by tracing around one of my current inserts so I won’t need to measure how much I have to cut. Then I just cut that main piece and folded it in half.
Since 12×12 papers are not big enough to create the folder out of a single piece of paper, I went ahead and grabbed one of the other papers that came in the box. Then I just eyeballed the shape that I wanted for my pocket and cut a piece slightly bigger from what I needed. You need to cut it bigger cause you want to fold around the edges to create your little pocket.
So once you fold a small portion around the left, right and bottom parts you can just put your strong adhesive and place the pocket on the big piece of paper we cut at the start. Do the same for a second pocket and you are ready to go.
You can stuff it as much as you want if your adhesive is strong to hold it. I used my pocket folder to keep all the lovely goodies that I got in my March Brimbles Box so they are ready to use any time I’m planning.
