Hello everyone! I’m back with another layout I created focusing on the beautiful sticker books you can find in various American Crafts collections.
These sticker books include cardstock, washi, clear and gold foiled designs that can fit all your crafty needs. On today’s layout, I’m going to use a variety of those stickers to decorate my page in a color coordinating fashion.
But let’s take everything from the start. The first thing I did was to fussy cut the beautiful diamond pattern from Shimelle’s Glitter Girl collection. Then using the We R Memory Keepers staple board I attached the diamonds scattered on my layout.
Once everything was in place, I started decorating around each diamond. I tried to match the colors of the diamonds with stickers from the Glitter Girl and Hustly & Heart collections. After I ran out of options from the sticker books, I decided to add a few more items from the Glitter Girl ephemera, embellishment pack and accent stickers.
I went for an overall diagonal design so I placed my photo between the two clusters of diamonds. I decorated around it with some beautiful flowers.I also added my title using a couple word stickers.
To bring everything together and also make the design look fuller, I added some gold splatters all around the page.
Stickers are very versatile embellishments and using them in matching colors with your background is a very easy technique to add lots of interest and beautiful details on your pages. It’s also very easy to mix stickers from different collections by using monochromatic stickers of the same color families. When for example you make a cluster of yellow stickers, they don’t have to be the exact same color. They will still look beautiful together.
I really hope you got inspired to use up your sticker stash and create something beautiful. Until next time, happy crafting.
