Hey there planner friends!
I’ve been neglecting my InkWell Press planner for some time now as things are so slow that I barely plan stuff the past couple of weeks.
Anyway I wanted to jump in and decorate the pages of this week more like an experiment to try things out and settle on how I’ll use my planner once I move back to my place after my summer vacation. For a long time now I wanted to experiment with more mediums in this planner as the paper is really so nice and thick. So I went ahead and tried some acrylics. I barely used any water in my paints but I added a generous amount of it on my pages and the warping was very minimal. Of course no bleed-though or shadowing as acrylics don’t soak into the paper.
It was really so fun to work on these pages. I was really inspired by the art journaling tips from my role-model crafter Caylee Grey over at Get Messy Art Journal blog and the queen of mixed media and fellow Studio L2e CT pal Shelley Chavis. Both these girls are super gorgeous by the way.
I kinda regret using these colors because they are definitely out of my comfort zone but my color palette was taken from a washi roll I wanted to use.
Anyway with no further ado here is my process video on those pages:
Hope you enjoyed, happy planning 🙂
